California Library Hall of Fame is a program of the California Library Association. A maximum of ten people are inducted each year, as selected by association's Library History Interest Group. Inductees include librarians, writers, library workers, and other library supporters, chosen for "historical significance and lifetime achievement". Awardees are honored at the association's annual gala.[1]
