I am a very long-time WP user who recently decided to create an account and edit a few things. Mostly minor edits. I mean well, I mostly edit grammar and spelling, and I don't really know what I'm doing! :-) If I mess something up, please correct me and I will (hopefully) understand and take it in the proper spirit of the Wikipedia Movement.

I am a professor of Information Technology at a small, regionally-accredited university, and I sometimes use this account to show students how Wikipedia works.

The name references Candide and Glossolalia. Just an attempt at humor; not an ideological message.
