Marthature is the user name of Martha Elizabeth Ture, also styled Martha E. Ture and Martha Ture. Ms. Ture is an internationally recognized nature and wildlife photographer and is retired from the California Public Utilities Commission. She has also worked at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the National Marine Fisheries Service. She practices journalism, having written for many years for several mainstream publications as a staff reporter and as a freelancer. Skills include investigative journalism, research and writing, editing, regulatory analysis, policy analysis, and photography. She is also a lifelong reader and sometime practitioner of U.S. public policy and history.
