Liron Lerman (Lermanico) is a New York city based augmented reality product manager and designer. Visit Liron's home page. Liron holds a BA in economics from Columbia University, and an MFA in game design from NYU. Prior to following his passion for game design, Liron worked as a technology consultant specializing in data capturing and analytics for banks, pharmaceuticals and state governments. Because of his fascination with game theory, he shifted his career to creating educational games that teach players about the benefits of cooperation through meaningful gameplay. Liron discovered his passion to augmented reality while developing his Master’s thesis, a game where players attempt to govern a fishery without exploiting the commons. As an interaction designer manager for renowned artist Clifford Ross, Liron created a large scale augmented reality app which was displayed at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MASS MoCA) and was quoted by the New York Times as “The most advanced Augmented Reality yet of its kind.” His work on augmented reality for Clifford Ross later gave birth to the “Invisible Art” app, the first augmented reality art book of its kind, which was published by MIT Press.

Liron is currently the CEO of two New-York based startups in the field of Augmented Reality.
