This page is a signature poll intended to gather useful user feedback and public editor data on Wikipedia:Signatures. The main purpose is to help users determine what other users like or don't like and what works or doesn't work best with signatures on Wikipedia. I created it to help me figure out which variant of my signature I should use, but any user can participate even if they don't have any variants of their own signature for making a multiple choice poll since a poll could be a simple vote such as, "do you like my signature? - Vote (yes) or (no)." For instructions on how to use this page to start your own poll see "Start poll" below.

Start poll: First, you should see if you are able to add a voting link to this page into your signature like I did so people will know about your poll and if you voted or you can also just post links to this page. Next, choose a section below for your poll and rename/create it with your username so other users can identify which poll is yours. They will also be able to find your poll by looking for your signatures listed in your section.
Note: This userpage was intentionally named with the shortest subpage title ("Poll") as possible rather than naming it with a longer and more descriptive title such as "Signature poll" because I needed to be able to save character space for fitting the title into the 255 character limit on custum signatures. This short naming convention does not interfere with my other user subpages since it is not likely I will be having any other polls in my subpages, but even if I did, it is also a very low chance that there would be any related character limits that would prevent me from making those other poll titles more defining and specific. If you happen to be a geek or nerd interested in this kind of thing, the changes I made in my signature to allow me to add in the vote system link within the character limit can be viewed here. The basic stats are that I had about 22 char. remaining on the original signature, and the current one with the modified voting system added in has 8 char., but Signatures #4-6 have only about 2 char. remaining on the limit.   • Option 1 or 3 Undecided [With the options having changed, I will wait to see if there is more feedback from the community] because #1 goes well with the text and isn't too off-putting, and by contrast #3 does highlight very well so it would be easy to stand out and find in discussions.Huggums537 Vote!   • Option 3 This is a neat idea! I definitely recommend option 3 because the black and yellow don't clash as easily as the blue and pink do. They blend in too much and may be hard to read for some. That being said, I prefer the color blue, so perhaps a lighter variant? Panini! • 🥪 19:45, 18 May 2024 (UTC)
    • Panini!, thanks! The one you were calling "pink" was actually brown, and so it got me to wondering what "real" pink would look like and I love it way more than brown so I'm going to modify the poll to show users what real pink looks like since it seems they might think the brown is pink anyway. I also thought lightblue looked great so added that option. You can change your vote if you want to. I think I agree that the brown was not a good option so [just replacing it with the pink].     • I now realize I've really gone and screwed things up by making modifications to the options because future participants are not going to understand what Panini and I are talking about when we're talking about the original "pink"/brown options that I replaced with the "true" pink options listed above so here are those "pink"/brown options that got replaced just so people know which options were replaced and what this discussion is about:
