Hello Wikipedia Users,

My name is Ez(Yez) Darren. I am small time historian from London UK, originally from Australia. Presently I am working in USA. I am interested in collecting information of the local history of small places where interesting events had happened but those are ignored, forgotten in the time or not known beyond some limits. This is subject of my thesis.

The local past is collected mainly from the library collections, museums and contacting some historian and local people( if possible) in the country of location. My work mainly focuses on Europe but also has undertaken work in Asian countries like India, Pakistan and Thailand. I got opportunity to travel extensively in these countries, meet local people and learn about the culture. Also got chances to live with them in their house like a exchange student.
Slowly, I do want to contribute more into Wikipedia articles, as I get free time .
