I often turned to Wikipedia to supplement ideas before searching them out online. For example, I'd fervently search for information about a particular author for a school essay or project and find information here. I was not allowed to use it (and understand why) but used it as a basis by which to search (through the reference links). This proved helpful and so I decided to join.

Favorite additions

Before joining Wikipedia, I added information to the Tim McGraw page and consequently to the Brett Favre page... this was such an exciting moment for me and I found myself singing a song by Weird Al Yankovich "my ergonomic keyboard never leaves me bored, Shopping online for deals on some writable media, I edit Wikipedia, I memorized Holy Grail really well, I can recite it right now and have you ROTFLOL, I got a business doing websites, When my friends need some code who do they call?, I do HTML for them all, Even made a homepage for my dog!" (From his song "White n Nerdy").
