William de Chesney (sheriff)[edit]

  • ... that the medieval Anglo-Norman nobleman William de Chesney took the surname of his mother's family, as did his paternal half-brother Simon, even though Simon wasn't related to that family?

Created/expanded by Ealdgyth (talk). Self nom at 16:59, 12 January 2012 (UTC)

  • Dates and lengths both good. AGF of offline sourcing. --Allen3 talk 14:17, 25 January 2012 (UTC)
