  • ... that the Washington State Convention Center opened thirty years ago today and was built over a section of Interstate 5 in Seattle? Source: "Seattle primps for convention". Statesman-Journal. Salem, Oregon. Associated Press. June 12, 1988. p. C4 – via Newspapers.com.

  • Comment: I'd like this to run on June 18 (the 30th anniversary of the building opening). If it can't be run, then the hook will need to be modified.

5x expanded by SounderBruce (talk). Self-nominated at 03:36, 2 June 2018 (UTC).

  • Interesting and neutral hook, the source is clear about it being built over Interstate 5, and it does say the center opened the week after the day it was published. Article clearly meets length and was expanded significantly compared to a few days ago. Picture taken by the nominator himself. Nova Crystallis (Talk) 03:35, 4 June 2018 (UTC)
