Teresa Wilms Montt[edit]

Teresa Wilms Montt

Created by Rosiestep (talk), Dr. Blofeld (talk). Nominated by Rosiestep (talk) at 01:26, 1 October 2014 (UTC).

  • Nominated one day after creation, and is about 2900 bytes, satisfying date and length criteria. QPQ to be completed. Please clarify the following: "...and was first newspaper in an Iquique newspaper using..."; and "he joined the city's active cultural life" - should this one be "she joined...". I do not see mention of the American Red Cross or Gómez Carrillo in source #3, which is used to support most of paragraph 3 in the biography section. Nor does it mention her use of the pseudonym "Teresa de la Cruz", or the movie title "Teresa: Crucificada por amar" (it uses "Teresa", as do other sources). I can't find mention of "relationship with feminists and trade unionists" in the refs available (refs 6 and 7 have no preview for me). I didn't find mention of alcoholism in ref #4 on pages 109-110; could you give me the starting point in that source for this mention please. Overall, a decent article, but I'd appreciate better citations (and possibly supporting quotations in the citations) to be able to track down information, especially when non-English sources are used. A reader or reviewer shouldn't have to hunt for the info in the sources. I've also fixed some grammar issues. Please address the outstanding concerns, after which I'll complete my review. @Mindmatrix: Thank you for the review. I think I've dealt with each of these issues. --Rosiestep (talk) 03:31, 2 October 2014 (UTC)
Thanks for the updates. QPQ completed. I'll assume good faith on the offline source. All other issues addressed. Mindmatrix 12:59, 2 October 2014 (UTC)
  • @Mindmatrix: My understanding is that "it" would refer to the preceding noun, in this case, the convent. I'm ok with either ALT. --Rosiestep (talk) 01:19, 3 October 2014 (UTC)
  • Any of them are OK; I interpreted 'it' to refer to convent in the original hook. ALT1 is probably the clearest, so I'd go with that one. I should also mention that the image is public domain, used in the article, and reasonable at the size required for DYK. Mindmatrix 12:55, 3 October 2014 (UTC)
