Sangnoksu[edit]

  • ... that the 1936 Korean novel Sangnoksu has been made into two movies?

  • Length, date, hook checks out. Close paraphrase not found. QPQ done. But is iMDB and KMDB WP:RS? I'm not entirely sure here, but I have a vague memory that iMDB was not universally accepted as WP:RS on Wiki. --Soman (talk) 15:30, 5 December 2016 (UTC)
  • Well, they are just to show the movie titles, dates, and rough plot outlines. And even if we have IMDb issues (Wikipedia:Citing IMDb pretty much leaves the question of "can we use IMDb as a title/year ref" to editors discretion due to no consensus/disputed), I think KMDb helps with secondary verification. I mean, does anyone doubt that the hook (stating that this book inspired two movies) is incorrect? Do note that the hook is not giving movie titles or dates, so unless you are prepared to question the very existence of those movies or their relation to the book, there is nothing dubious about it. Also, this fact (that those two movies are related to the book) is verified with another ref, ex. [1]. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 01:57, 6 December 2016 (UTC)
Ok, very well. --Soman (talk) 04:39, 6 December 2016 (UTC)
