I've added a bunch of refs and citations. There are only three uncited sentences in the document now. I'll keep hunting for refs... Mindmatrix 00:08, 27 March 2013 (UTC)
Every sentence in the article but the intro sentence is now sourced (the first is supported by the rest of the article, of course). I've commented out a few things which, while nonetheless true, finding a source has proven difficult and not currently worth the effort. Also, I normally avoid using encyclopedias as refs, but the works cited here are part of the "Hispanic Heritage in the Americas" project which is independent of Encyclopedia Britannica itself (though produced, published, and hosted by the company).
