Madero Center[edit]

Madero Center

Created by Cambalachero (talk). Self nominated at 18:03, 11 January 2014 (UTC).

  • Date, length, hook all OK. Hook confirmed by online source in Spanish which is AGF (and even to a non-Spanish speaker appears to confirm it). Image licence appears OK. Article well referenced and formatted. --Peter I. Vardy (talk) 12:36, 13 January 2014 (UTC)
  • The hook would be a lot more interesting if it had a little more information about the hotel and the controversies around it. For example:
  • ALT1: ... that Argentine vice president Amado Boudou lives in the five-star hotel Madero Center (pictured)?
  • ALT2: ... that money launderers may have transferred cash in the parking lot of the hotel Madero Center (pictured) in Buenos Aires? --Orlady (talk) 22:28, 17 January 2014 (UTC)
  • The ALT1 seems fine, but I would try to avoid the controversies in the main page if we can focus in non-controversial info about the hotel. Cambalachero (talk) 22:44, 17 January 2014 (UTC)
Question: Is this actually a "hotel" (which generally means a place where travellers can book rooms), or is it more accurately described as a "luxury apartment complex"? This source leads me to think that it is an apartment complex that has amenities similar to a five-star hotel. --Orlady (talk) 22:53, 17 January 2014 (UTC)
Yes, sorry, the word "hotel" can be used for both types of buildings in my country. I have fixed the hook. Cambalachero (talk) 23:42, 20 January 2014 (UTC)
