Created by TonyTheTiger (talk). Self nominated at 16:57, 23 September 2013 (UTC).
- 2nd of 2 QPQs against Template:Did you know nominations/Pindakaasvloer.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 16:59, 23 September 2013 (UTC)
- P.S. I am going to need a few more weeks to get this one together.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 17:00, 23 September 2013 (UTC)
- (ALT1)... that Hill Street Blues shares the record for the most Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series awards? --TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 19:53, 15 October 2013 (UTC)
- (ALT2)... that Hill Street Blues swept all five Primetime Emmy Awards nominations in the Supporting Actor in a Drama Series and Writing for a Drama Series categories in different seasons? --TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 19:53, 15 October 2013 (UTC)
- (ALT3)... that Hill Street Blues holds the Primetime Emmy Awards record for the most Supporting Actor in a Drama Series and Supporting Actress in a Drama Series nominations? --TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 19:53, 15 October 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks for the ALTs, Tony. I prefer ALT3, which reads the smoothest. However, none of the information in the hook is cited in the article, per WP:DYK#The hook, Content #3. Yoninah (talk) 21:41, 15 October 2013 (UTC)
- Are there any hooks that you consider adequately sourced?--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 07:52, 19 October 2013 (UTC)
- Actually, no. The first paragraph of the lead has no citations and, if it is referring to the information in the charts to follow, those charts also have no citations, which does not satisfy Rule D2. (Where did you find all this information?) The citations for the second paragraph of the lead seem to be talking about other series that surpassed Hill Street Blues in awards/nominations. It's not clear to me that footnote 4 is even making the same statement as your text makes. Yoninah (talk) 16:51, 19 October 2013 (UTC)
- I suggest that this be run at the same time as Hill Street, London which is in the queue at October 10 with the proposed hook "DYK that ....there were Hill Street blues in 18th century London?". Warden (talk) 13:42, 16 October 2013 (UTC)
- That is unrelated subject matter.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 15:08, 16 October 2013 (UTC)
- No hooks are adequately sourced, and no action in a week. The article was nominated over a month ago. Giving until the end of the month; if no hook is supported by then, the nomination will be closed. BlueMoonset (talk) 02:21, 27 October 2013 (UTC)
- I missed the response that nothing was adequately sourced.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 03:55, 27 October 2013 (UTC)
- (ALT4)... that Hill Street Blues set a record for most Primetime Emmy Awards won by a single show in a single sesaon in 1981?--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 23:44, 27 October 2013 (UTC)
- Doesn't the source say that Hill Street Blues shares this record of 8 wins with E.R.?
- It is my understanding that to qualify for DYK, all those charts of nominations and winners that you've printed need citations. Just providing a citation for the hook is not sufficient in this case. Yoninah (talk) 19:22, 28 October 2013 (UTC)
- I lost steam on that article. I am not likely to source each award. If that is required, you can just fail this now.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 19:29, 28 October 2013 (UTC)
