Kayoa[edit]

"Moluccan Beetles"

  • ... that Wallace found Kayoa's virgin forest "a glorious spot" full of beetles (engraving by Wallace pictured)?

Created by Chiswick Chap (talk). Self nominated at 13:09, 22 March 2013 (UTC).

  • Created and nominated on 22 March, satisfying date criteria. Text is only 1388 characters, of which more than half is an excerpt from Wallace's notes. This article needs more text, but it appears there are plenty of sources - both books and scholarly works. Perhaps mention the coral reefs, or the inhabitants and their languages. QPQ was completed. • Thanks. Have added accounts of geography, archaeology, linguistics with new refs. Now >1900 chars excluding Wallace quote. Chiswick Chap (talk) 11:52, 23 March 2013 (UTC)
  • Issues have been addressed, and recent additions are sourced and verified. Hook is a good length, with offline citation, so I will assume good faith for that one. Good to go. Mindmatrix 15:44, 23 March 2013 (UTC)
