Katemeshi[edit]

Created by Northamerica1000 (talk). Self-nominated at 21:03, 16 June 2017 (UTC).

  • Article created and nominated on 17 June. So, fits 7 day range. Hook length is less than 200 characters. 1906 B (303 words) "readable prose size". QPQ done. As a non-Japanese person, I do not know what is Meiji and Taishō period and thus, did not find very specific mentions of it in the sources. Could you help me with that? - Vivvt (Talk) 06:55, 18 June 2017 (UTC)
  • @Vivvt: The Meiji period occurred from October 23, 1868 through July 30, 1912 , and the Taishō period occurred from July 30, 1912, to December 25, 1926.This source, which I added above and now cited in article to verify the content, states that katemeshi was consumed in 1879, and also states that the dish was consumed in 1920. Hope this clarifies matters. North America1000 16:31, 18 June 2017 (UTC)
  • Thanks for the clarification. This is good to go! - Vivvt (Talk) 17:09, 18 June 2017 (UTC)
