Hydnora triceps[edit]

freshly cut fruit

  • ... that the fruit of the rare subterranean parasitic plant Hydnora triceps (pictured) smell and taste of coconut?

  • Hook: Interesting, cited, short enough, image is fine
Article: New enough (move from AFC date), long enough. Fix the citation needed tag please. Paraphrasing against Dinteria source looks okay.
Summary: Referencing. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 14:30, 8 July 2012 (UTC)
Got tag done. Casliber (talk · contribs) 14:47, 8 July 2012 (UTC)
  • Still missing a reference. Also, the image is not in the article (just realised this). — Crisco 1492 (talk) 04:28, 9 July 2012 (UTC)
  • Sorry, missed that tag. Fixed now. I wasn't aware of a rule about images - I like the idea of exposing readers to as many different images of a subject as possible. If need be we can either slot the image in the article or choose another for DYK - not fussed either way. Casliber (talk · contribs) 06:28, 9 July 2012 (UTC)
  • Orlady's gotten me several times on that one. Good to go without image, or with image if inserted in the article. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 08:51, 10 July 2012 (UTC)
