  • Hi Launchballer (talk), review follows: article created 2 March and exceeds minimum length; article is cited inline throughout to what look to be reliable sources for the content cited; I didn't spot any overly close paraphrasing in checking the sources; hook fact is interesting enough for me, mentioned in the article and checks out to source cited; just awaiting a QPQ, I think - Dumelow (talk) 14:27, 9 March 2023 (UTC)

  • @Launchballer and Dumelow: Apologies for the drive-by comment, but speaking as a non-Brit, I think I may have to disagree with Dumelow on the interestingness of the hook. If a reader doesn't know what The Co-op is, the hook seems somewhat more hard to understand or at least less easy to get. Maybe a revision of the hook could be done for the benefit of international readership, or perhaps an alternate hook can be propose? Sorry Launchballer (talk), I missed your response with QPQ. Indeed, I hadn't thought about the Co-op being little known abroad. Perhaps it could be reworded to "grocery", "convenience shop", "supermarket" or something? Also happy to look at any alternative hooks you might suggest - Dumelow (talk) 09:44, 18 April 2023 (UTC)
Annoyingly, I can't find a source to say which of the Co-op businesses she tried to work at, and I'm not prepared to assume. I propose either:
ALT1: ... that for Caity Baser's first tour, she capped ticket prices at £15?, or
ALT2: ... that Caity Baser released follow-ups to her singles "Friendly Sex", "X & Y", and "Kiss You"?--Launchballer 09:50, 18 April 2023 (UTC)
Good point, I'd forgotten the funeral parlours, travel agents etc. I'm not overly certain on the two hooks proposed. I've seen a few artists announce price caps so that it being done by a relatively little known artist isn't that interesting for me. Is there a phrase that can be used for ALT2 rather than "follow-up"? I had read it as that she just released more songs, it is certainly more interesting that these were new versions of those previous songs. If "follow-up" is actually the best term, no worries, not really my area - Dumelow (talk) 10:08, 18 April 2023 (UTC)
ALT3: ... that Caity Baser followed up her 2022 singles "Friendly Sex", "X & Y", and "Kiss You" with "Friendly Sex (Angrier)", "X & Y (What I Didn't Say)", and "Kiss You, Pt. 2" respectively?--Launchballer 12:34, 18 April 2023 (UTC)
Oh, I like ALT3. I think there's an error with one of your urls though, the source listed as "Caity Baser - Discography. Spotify" links to a pmstudio article on different singers- Dumelow (talk) 14:33, 18 April 2023 (UTC)
Wow, fail much. I think I may have come from working on piri. To top it off, the other Spotify link wasn't working either.--Launchballer 14:55, 18 April 2023 (UTC)
Thanks, ALT3 is fine for me now - Dumelow (talk) 14:58, 18 April 2023 (UTC)
