In the recurring characters, Mr. Larrytate is missing. I don't know who plays him, but someone can find that out. He is seen in two episodes, "Potion Commotion" and "Little Sister." dr.scholl201 (talk) 00:02, 15 March 2008 (UTC)

There's not enough content on the page, not nearly enough and before anyone flies off the handle, I know it hasn't aired yet but doesn't anyone have any information? I can't wait till October! (No one fly off the handle!)

It airs October 5th -- Dap12 —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.174.46.148 (talk) 16:49, August 22, 2007 (UTC)

Spells

Since the spells section is getting too big, I made a new page. Wizards of Waverly Place spells.Empezardesdecero1718 (talk) 04:55, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

Vandalism

On January 4, 2008 several edits Diff were made by User:68.43.194.12 who has vandalized Wikipedia, a person familiar with this article should validate that any improper edits have been repaired. 21:44, 5 January 2008 (UTC)

Those edits looked like edits to improve the article and not vandalism. One dubious section remains removed and can be put back if people think it belongs. --NrDg 22:02, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
I think it needs to be reverted. It deviates from the MOS we've been using. He has removed links which are supposed to have been in place (Ex. Dates, Channels, Actors and other series names). These are supposed to be linked. He deviates again from the MOS by changing "Miranda (Lucy Hale)" to "Miranda played by Lucy Hale" (Using that specific name as an example he changed the other characters too). He captialized things that don't get caps ("Theme song" turned into "Theme Song"). he removed information without a reason (" features the cast in a CGI background" also removed Spells section). The article now looks very bland and not like other articles. --Malevious Userpage •Talk Page• Contributions 22:35, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
Another thing, is the spelling mistakes. (Changing "Recurring" to "Reacurring") --Malevious Userpage •Talk Page• Contributions 22:40, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
I have no problem with people undoing the edits, just the characterization of them as vandalism. He was being bold but doesn't have consensus. So keep the good stuff he did, if any and put the article back to what people want. --NrDg 22:44, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
It doesn't look like vandalism, just an editor making good faith edits. Everyone makes mistakes, editor is probably just new, not a vandal. So can we revert and just fix the minor things he did get right? --Malevious Userpage •Talk Page• Contributions 00:53, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

this is insane! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.59.168.1 (talk) 20:40, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

I think the 16th of may, 2008, i did a good aport, about a dvd release, someone think that is the wikipedia owner and erased it without explanation, the information was full, and in good presentation, with dates and especification but that vandalist erased it. The person who thinks this article is his property, please think in the other people. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Maquirri91 (talkcontribs) 12:30, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

Removing unreferenced, dubious information is not vandalism, see WP:Vandalism. I find it extremely unlikely that Disney would release a DVD with just 2 episodes on it so I need to see a reference that backs that up. See also WP:V and WP:RS for what I would like to see. --NrDg 16:37, 21 May 2008 (UTC)

On 23 July 2008 someone replaced most of hyperlinks for cast to different drugs fixed on 22:45 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.5.247.185 (talk) 21:52, 23 July 2008 (UTC)

Jennifer Stone/Harper Evans

What classifies her as main cast. Shouldn't she be under Reccurring Characters? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.242.178.149 (talk) 21:21, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

Being in the opening credits is sufficient and necessary to be classified as main cast. --NrDg 21:30, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

The only reason Harper is shown in the main cast is because DC ALWAYs does 4 main kid stars-

That's So Raven: Raven , Chelsea, Cory , and Eddie

Lizzie Mcguire: Matt, Lizzie , Gordo, Miranda

The Suite Life of Zack and Cody: Maddie, London, Zack , Cody

Cory in the House : Sophie, Cory ,Newt, Meena

Hannah Montana: Miley, Oliver, Lily, Jackson

The only on I couldn't find 4 kid characters was Phil Of the Future, but their dad actied kid enough:)

Jennifer Stone is a main character. Like other main characters, she doesn't need to appear in every episode to be a main character. The reason she appears to be missing more episodes than the average main character is because she was filming Dadnapped. Now, that production for the film is finished, she will appear in most of the episodes. There is no set limit on the number of child actors a Disney show has to have as a main character. Mr. College (talk) 20:11, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
Also, the fact that Phil of the Future did NOT have 4 main kid stars proves that not all Disney shows have 4 main kid stars. Mr. College (talk) 17:55, 26 July 2008 (UTC)

Should Harper's magic power being revealed in Season 2 be listed? First, has that been confirmed? Even if it has, doesn't that consitute a spoiler?--Tricksterson (talk) 20:01, 6 September 2008 (UTC)

In the main article there is she known as Harper Evans. But (I think it was) in the epsiode list her name is "Harper Finkle". I just want to say it... Shego123 (talk) 18:23, 29 September 2008 (UTC)

Gigi or G.G.?

There has been much debate to the spelling of her name. Gigi being the most logical because it's a word, over G.G., which are just initials. But I have valid points of proof that her name is spelled G.G.

1.) In episode "Crazy 10 Minute Sale", Harper said that her name spelled backwards is G.G. Now G.G. spelled backwards is still G.G. But if her name was Gigi, it would be Igig, which makes no sense.

2.) Since her real name is Gertrude, it is unlikely that her nick name would be Gigi. But it could be G.G. if her middle name began with a G, that way her nick name would be her initials.

3.) There is no indication on the show or official site that her name is Gigi. Now that would mean that G.G. could be wrong too, but I have presented 2 points of proof that G.G. would be more likely to be her name, as opposed to Gigi, which no proof has been presented.

I have changed all refernces of Gigi to G.G. in the Wizards of Waverly Place and List of Wizards of Waverly Place episodes articles. They should only be changed back if someone has proof that her named is spelled Gigi. JYoung3 (talk) 15:24, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

The end credits of "Crazy 10 Minute Sale" say "Guest Starring Skyler Samuels as Gigi". That is authoritative. --NrDg 16:06, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

Recurring characters

I think we should remove the bit comparing Frankie to Rico, using the logic that Rico has a crush on Miley as Frankie has a crush on Alex. Frankie DOES have a crush on Alex, but Rico appears to be attracted to every two-legged female on that show. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.160.222.253 (talk) 02:53, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

i could not agree more!!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.114.144.24 (talk) 23:43, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

That is true, but I think he was initially intended to be comparable to Rico, and Rico was intended to be comparable to Stanley. DLWDWFreek (talk) 05:38, 16 July 2008 (UTC)

Um does disney make most of the smaill midget boys players or/and cheapsakes signed comment by KADcutie44 —Preceding unsigned comment added by KADcutie44 (talkcontribs) 05:23, 22 July 2008 (UTC)

While we're on the topic of Frankie, how do we know that's his name? I'm not disagreeing, I just want the source, since according to his description he's credited as "Joey." I don't even recall his name being mentioned in the episodes. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.71.42.191 (talk) 14:51, 28 August 2008 (UTC)

A few points...

I haven't looked at this article before today and I was wondering if having the spells and goofs are really necessary. I mean, they are nice, but if I wanted to find out about this show, a list of spells doesn't tell me much about the show itself. As there are more episodes, the list will get really long; so if anyone has a reason why it is important it should have its own page, and it is taking up a large amount of room.

Also, in other articles, trivia and goofs are discouraged under Wikipedia guidelines. The goofs section, is again very nice for the fans of the show, but as an outsider, it doesn't tell me anything about the show, except Disney made some continuity errors.

This sounds quite negative, but hopefully someone will see where I'm coming from. Mouseinthehouse (talk) 16:32, 2 April 2008 (UTC)

I agree, they should be removed. Carl.bunderson (talk) 21:26, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

As nobody against my proposal has said anything in a month, I will delete said above. Mouseinthehouse (talk) 18:53, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

Trivia

I know that trivia sections are frowned upon on Wikipedia, but is/should it (be) mentioned how in the episode Alex's Choice, how Mrs. Russo took the lock from the lair and put it on a counter, but when Alex walks in and The camera goes to Alex and then back to Mrs. Russo with the Lair door in the background, you can see the lock is back on the door. --(long, run-on sentence)Obaidz96 (talk contribs count) 22:44, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

You're right, trivia sections are discouraged. Carl.bunderson (talk) 20:26, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
First, that's more of a goof. Second, it's not the most notable goof. (I didn't realize it until I read about it.) Third, if we list that goof, then we need to list every goof, and that will become too lengthy. Mr. College (talk) 20:11, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

Laugh Track

Does wizards have a laugh track?? I'm not exactly sure but I'd like to find out -Anime27life is full of wonders (talk) 22:20, 21 June 2008 (UTC)

Like a lot of Disney shows, this show does have a laugh track. (I know. I'm watching it right now.)

They have a live audience in Season 2. PacManFreak (talk) 02:09, 3 July 2008 (UTC)

Next Orbitorium spell.

Doesn't that just take them to MArs? Because NEXT Orbitorium. And the next planet is Mars.DLWDWFreek (talk) 01:12, 16 July 2008 (UTC)

That makes sense, but I think if the spellcaster has a planet in mind it will go to the desired location. --ZSoraz (talk) 01:59, 16 July 2008 (UTC)

More Improv Spells

I think that some other spells might be considered improv, such as Stop all the racket, I'll wear a jacket., From your chin to your toes, an elephant trunk grows., You haven't acted with any responsibility, say goodbye to your magical ability., and also probably the Genie spells. What do ya'll tihnk? --ZSoraz (talk) 01:11, 17 July 2008 (UTC)

It does fit the critera for spell improvisation but we don't know for sure if it is spell improvisation. Mr. College (talk) 02:00, 24 July 2008 (UTC)

The New Spells

I know haven't seen all of the episodes not yet free to the public, but is there someway to confirm those spells? They sound ligit, but hey incantations are easily created. :-) --ZSoraz (talk) 09:23, 17 July 2008 (UTC)

Headmaster Crumbs

Someone keeps changing the number of his appearences to 3 when he only in appeared in 2 episodes: Wizard School Part 2 and Report Card. Would somebody please identify the supposed 3rd episode he appeared in? Mr. College (talk) 02:03, 24 July 2008 (UTC)

Spells 2

The spell Murieta Animata is also used in Alex's sping fling when Alex animates a manniquenn. Why isn't it in there? Ashneestar (talk) 04:32, 1 August 2008 (UTC)

Actually, since the spells are covered in List of Wizards of Waverly Place episodes, is there any really good reason to have that huge table here? I propose removing it, and any other tables in this article tied to episodes (like "other magic"). Gimmetrow 17:36, 17 August 2008 (UTC)

Any comments? Gimmetrow 05:15, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
Um, sounds fine to me. Carl.bunderson (talk) 08:34, 21 August 2008 (UTC)
Splitting off yet another article wasn't quite what I had in mind... Gimmetrow 02:22, 23 August 2008 (UTC)
Soo, what is it you want to do? Carl.bunderson (talk) 02:15, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
I had wanted to have this stuff mentioned with each episode in the episode list article. I think if the list of "spells" went to AFD, the result would be a merge to the episode list. Gimmetrow 02:39, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
Ok, I see now. I had only been following what you put here, I didn't look at the article and what had happened to it. And yeah, the spell article is up for deletion now, I'd suggest you merge the info from it into the episode page before it get's deleted. If you want my help with something, let me know. Carl.bunderson (talk) 02:51, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
Heh, I didn't know it was already at AFD ;) Gimmetrow 04:00, 25 August 2008 (UTC)

Please STOP adding a "Spells" section to the article

Please stop adding a "Spells" section to the article. It is of little notability and rarely important, and is already covered in the episodes list anyways. Also, please format your sections correctly. New sections begin like this:

==SECTION NAME HERE==

The tag for a new section also must start on it's own line (add a page break, then section). 71.183.225.182 (talk) 00:58, 9 October 2008 (UTC)
