Contested deletion[edit]

This page should not be speedily deleted because... the nominator appears not even to have read the stub article. It is not about a "place" or "location". It is about a large cap. publicly listed company. Just because an article is a initiated as a stub does not automatically mean that the topic is nn. Furthermore, it is very rude to allege that I initiated the article for "probably for advertising reasons". I have initiated hundreds of articles on many, many topics. I have nothing whatsoever to do with this company. Slightly shocked at this aggressive edit to be frank. Take it to AFD if you have a serious issue. --Mais oui! @Mais oui!: I have started an ANI thread about the tagging user due to similar problems on other articles. — Yellow Dingo (talk) 03:26, 9 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. I would appreciate it if you could also remove the speedy delete template. Mais oui! (talk) 03:29, 9 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding your notability concerns for Wallenstam[edit]

I removed your nomination for deletion, it's not surprising you don't know about Wallenstam, considering it's a mainly Gothenburg centered property owner. Just like I don't know any Polish property developers either. But as I wrote in my summary it's well known in several sectors in Sweden, partly as a landlord, partly as a large cap company. This isn't the first time someone have tried to delete the stub, it happened in 2016 as well. That being said, if you don't believe me, here are tons of news articles written about the company, courtesy of Google:

The list goes on, but I'm running out of newspapers that I can think of. Almost all articles are in Swedish, obviously. It's mainly about how the business is doing, new development projects, tenant controversies, court cases and the usual stuff.

With the current stock price the company is worth 34.5 billion SEK (US$3.5 billion, €3.2 billion) and despite being a primary source their website's about page paint an accurate picture about the size and scope of the company.

And if all that wasn't enough, the article on the Swedish language Wikipedia have been around since 2006 with absolutely no attempts at deletion for lack of notability. Really, if anyone would know if the company is notable or not it's the Swedes themselves.

This was posted on my talk page in responce to the WP:PROD deletion request. Can anyone actually expand this article with a source or two so it moves beyond sub-stub and stops attracting deletion requests for being a WP:YELLOWPAGES-like entry wit no assertion of notability? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 04:31, 22 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
