Obstinate removal of Moldovenist mentions/categories[edit]

At some point, the fact that certain editors cannot reconcile themselves with the existence of a handful of Moldovenists in an interwar Romanian context should come into play as disruptive to the project. Cijevschi is an interesting case, clearly labeled as a Moldovenist and an anti-Romanian in his contemporary context, and going beyond Alexandri or Stere's mere opposition to Romanian centralism; to anyone not able to reconcile that fact of life with their own agenda: at least make the effort to understand that Cijevschi was also a man with a very poor reputation, widely seen as a con artist, and, what is more, a Russian loyalist until just before the union. (And alas, like many other Bessarabians, he had only supported the union when it came with provisions that conservative Romanians, not to mention the likes of Stroescu, regarded as infuriatingy left-wing.) Maybe you should pick another hill to die on. Dahn (talk) 03:31, 4 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
