'Hawes and Curtis' problem[edit]

Under this section, the article says 'In 2001, Low Profile Group acquired Hawes & Curtis for £1.'. This amount seems a bit dubious... 120.150.204.249 (talk) 10:14, 3 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Not unusual for a company deeply in debt but which can be rescued. 92.237.83.227 (talk) 21:48, 28 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Accuracy?[edit]

The article calls Hawes & Curtis a shirt-maker. Surely it is much more than that? I thought Hawes & Curtis still made men's tailoring generally, although even the Wiki article on it does not specify, either. The article just calls it a "heritage brand", whatever that may mean. ~ P-123 (talk) 23:36, 27 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Something wrong with dates[edit]

It says he moved to the UK in 1958 at the age of 5. Yet he speaks with a marked for accent, associated with learning a language as an adult, not at the age of 5. Rustygecko (talk) 03:46, 9 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
