Soundtrack VS Score[edit]

I cite one of your own articles in this debate.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Film_score

A Film score is music specifically written for a film. I don't understand why Wiki thinks that this article should be considered about a "soundtrack." If anything, you could say "album," but NOT soundtrack as soundtrack is music NOT written specifically for the film or various other types of things such as the actual track of sound effects in a medium.

I don't think this article is a soundtrack. If anything, I think it should be renamed "Film Score."

Fair use rationale for Image:Thelostworld-1-.jpg[edit]

Image:Thelostworld-1-.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Cue titles[edit]

Unfortunately, there aren't any published sources, online or elsewhere, that can confirm the cue titles, slate numbers, and so forth. For that reason, I can totally understand why some folks wouldn't want the information included here. Nevertheless, as the editor who added them to the article, I can't help suggesting that they should remain. The information is very much legitimate, as anyone who has seen the sheet music can verify. Just my two cents. =) Datameister (talk) 04:26, 16 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Theme from Jurassic Park[edit]

Does anyone know why they cut "theme from jurassic park" from the film. The new recording is even better and it would have been perfect to have it at the end after all that high raised music of isla sorna.
