Elevation and location[edit]

The WAD and Falling Rain both give the airport an elevation of 1,056 m and the maps appear to show the airport running through the middle of the town (01°30′19″S 078°03′46″W / 1.50528°S 78.06278°W / -1.50528; -78.06278). However, Falling Rain locates Shell Mera/Shell (http://www.fallingrain.com/world/EC/17/Shell.html) further to the east (01°30′00″S 078°03′0″W / 1.50000°S 78.05000°W / -1.50000; -78.05000) and at 2,156 m.
