Why I removed some changes[edit]

I would like to explain why I have removed some changes by User:Gavin.collins and I am looking for opinions if that was ok:

- Changed introduction and removed context tag.

- original research tag removed from Selan's symbol is a moon within a ring.:

Al-Qadim - Land of Fate - Adventurer's Guide to Zakhara says on p. 51: Symbol: The ringed moon.; p. 49 shows a crescent within a ring.

I think both phrases are equivalent. By the way: Is it good to choose different wordings in a wikipedia article than in the source in order to avoid copyright infringements?

- original research tag removed from Like other Zakharan gods she is above such concerns as alignment, as beauty may be craved and valued by good and evil folk alike.:

Al-Qadim - Land of Fate - Adventurer's Guide to Zakhara says on p. 45, 46: The Great Gods are neither good nor evil, lawful nor chaotic. They are beyond such matters. Bravery can be found in the most noble faris and the most black-hearted assassin, and who is Hajama to turn his ear from either of them?

This applies to Selan as well, but her ideal is different. Does my phrase already count as original research (and should therefore be removed), is it incompatible with wikipedia's aspired encyclopedic style (and should therefore be removed) or is it ok (and should be kept as it is; that's unsurprisingly my opinion)?

- original research tag removed from Her most important center of worship is the Great Mosque of the Moon in Medina al-Afyal.:

Al-Qadim - Land of Fate - Adventurer's Guide to Zakhara says on p. 51: Her greatest Mosque is not in Huzuz, but on the Island of Afyal, where her followers make up most of the population; and on p. 110 about Medina al-Afyal: Its greatest structures - the Great Mosque of Selan and the Palace of Alon - flank the city.

Discussion necessary[edit]

Different users obviously think differently if this should be a full article or if it should be merged. I think there should be a discussion instead of any more edits first. Because this is only one of many articles with the same problem, I would like to point this discussion to Talk:List of Forgotten Realms deities#A proposal.
