Some proposed changes[edit]

1. Rachel's genre of music is Electro - the current genres listed are historically accurate, but not current.

2. To describe Rachel as a 'singer-songwriter' is no longer current. I would therefore like to amend the first paragraph to read as follows:-

"Rachel K Collier is a Welsh electronic music producer and performer[1] from Swansea.[2] She studied Creative Music Technology (BMus) for four years at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama before moving to London to further pursue her music career.[3] Rachel is known for using a multi-instrument technical setup to enable her to perform her song-focused, high-energy studio productions in a live setting.[4] />"

3. ===2013–present: Boom Boom (Heartbeat) & breakthrough=== to be amended to ===2013–2014: Boom Boom (Heartbeat) & breakthrough===

4. Rachel co-wrote "Boom Boom (Heartbeat), as shown by the PRS Database. The first sentence of the third paragraph should therefore read: "In August 2013 Rachel co-wrote and featured on Ray Foxx's single "Boom Boom (Heartbeat)"."

5. Add a new section titled === 2015-Present: Solo Career === reading as follows:-

"Rachel's debut four track self-produced EP "Words You Never Heard" was releases on 25 October 2015 via Toolroom Records imprint Love & Other, receiving "8/10" from Mixmag.[5] After several releases as a featured Artist, finally putting out her own "beats, bass and music" was a pivotal moment in her career.[1]

Rachel went on to set up her own label, NIF Records, with AWAL via Kobalt Music Group in September 2016[1], going on to self-release four self-written and self-produced singles, "Ships" in 2016, "Paper Tiger" and "Rust" in 2017 and "Darkshade" in 2018. Her debut Album is set for release in Autumn 2018.[4]"

This is all objectively and factually accurate and required to provide an update on commercial acticity since 2014, which is the current latest release.

6. Add a new section titled === Live === reading as follows:-

"Performing on stage together with live percussionist and interactive visuals, Rachel has built her live show throughout 2017, completing a nine-date debut Tour[6], playing for BBC Introducing at Amsterdam Dance Event[7], as well as a live Janie Long BBC Radio session, supporting Peking Duk at KOKO, Camden[8], 'We Are Robots' Ableton Festival at 93 Feet East[9], headlining “Beats for Love” Festival in the Czech Republic[10] and as part of Ableton “Loop” in Berlin[11].[4]

In 2018, Rachel played two showcases at SXSW, again for BBC Introducing as well as FOCUS Wales.[4]"

These are objective and factually accurate and demonsrate Rachel's current standing as a live electronic artist.

7. Under "Discography", the most recent release is a single called "Darkshade" released 2018.

Thanks
