Up until 19xx, the name of the town was spelled with an 'a' in the middle "Oolagah." (need year, and who changed)
The Library of Congress has a 1905 map of Oklahoma Territory[1]. On it Oologah is spelled Oologah. The town was founded in 1891 so it was probably always officially spelled Oologah. OKtag 04:51, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
