is it a hoax?[edit]

Hello! Today (21 September 2013) this article was featured in Facebook. The references in the article are not convincing to me or they are even broken. I believe, this article is a hoax, although the history of the article goes back to 15 July 2010 and it was said to be on a peer review Wikipedia:Peer review/Moon Museum/archive1. Can anyone else check the references again? At least it should be more stressed in the article that there is no official or reliable source given. Thanks! Discontinued link[edit]

Hi! I've just noticed that one of the links in the 'references' section has been discontinued. LINK: http://blog.ucsd.edu/artslib/2008/03/01/secret-museum-on-the-moons-surface/ (it's the first reference) Alexthunder27 (talk) 21:56, 15 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, thanks for bringing that up. I attempted to find if it was rehosted anywhere on the UCSD site or on the web but didn't get any results. Unfortunately, archive.org and archive.is got to it after the blog was discontinued. Sadly this link will probably have to stay dead, but on Wikipedia we keep even links that don't work. You might wish to see WP:LINKROT for more information. Again, thanks. Opencooper (talk) 03:47, 16 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Missing information[edit]

There is no information to the process of the manufacturing of the artwork. Fot example, Is the black printed or etched? 2A02:8388:E203:1D80:48F3:F691:DB98:A5DE (talk) 07:52, 31 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Artists confirmed? Failed verification[edit]

The article claims that "Both John Chamberlain and Claes Oldenburg have confirmed through representatives that they contributed drawings to Moon Museum", and cites this to this AOL News article. However, there is nothing in there about Chamberlain's or Oldenburg's representatives confirming that they were involved. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 13:49, 29 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
