Superb musician - what is she doing now?[edit]

I'd like to know- perhaps someone else would, as well.184.144.78.99 (talk) 20:58, 6 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Ibaraki[edit]

Huang's Juilliard bio page [1] says she was "Born in Ibaraki, Japan" without making clear whether "Ibaraki" refers to the prefecture; the town in that prefecture, or another city in Osaka prefecture. Yesterday, I asked over at WikiProject Japan for input, and the only thing that seems to be certain is that there is uncertainty.

I'd like for this to be disambiguated, but not based on guesswork. If you know of any published reliable source that indicates which "Ibaraki" this refers to, please update this page accordingly, but be certain to cite the source.

For anyone who wants to follow the WikiProject Japan discussion, it's currently ongoing on the Wikiproject talk page (now archived), under the heading Ibaraki. TJRC (talk) 17:37, 21 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@TJRC: This source says Ibaraki, Ibaraki - but it's not WP:RS, and I worry that they may be guessing. Italian Wiki also says Ibaraki, Ibaraki; but they include no source, and I'm sure that they're guessing. No other reference seems to say more than Ibaraki, Japan. Frustrating, isn't it? I've given up on ever knowing the correct answer and am resigned to leave it ambiguous, just as the sources are. TJRC (talk) 23:34, 20 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
