Are some career notes missing?[edit]

The summmary box in the right-hand column states "his pioneering work merging the polytechnic and university sectors in the United Kingdom and establishing the Higher Education Funding Council for England". If correct then this is quite a landmark activity in the history of the UK education system and yet the actual biography text makes no mention of these activities. 2.96.192.66 (talk) 15:41, 23 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
