Source is inline cited to Göteborgs-Posten which is RS but it's in Swedish which I don't read so AGF. Article is NPOV, long enough and new enough (created March 20). A QPQ has been done and there's no image. Earwig returns 10.7% (violation unlikely). This looks good. Chetsford (talk) 02:46, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

MDY vs DMY[edit]

@GiantSnowman: Can you point out where in MOS:NUM it says that articles about non-Americans should use DMY dates instead of MDY dates? I can't find it anywhere. Dugan Murphy (talk) 13:14, 18 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

In that section of the MOS, I see "Articles on topics with strong ties to a particular English-speaking country should generally use the date format most commonly used in that nation", but no guidance on topics with strong ties to Swedish-speaking countries. Conversely, I see "The date format chosen in the first major contribution in the early stages of an article ... should continue to be used, unless there is reason to change it based on strong national ties to the topic or consensus on the article's talk page."
