Revisions[edit]

Very well written and interesting article. I made a couple of revisions, first regarding the labeling of units of measurement when describing the size of the beetle. I changed all units of measurement to their abbreviated form for consistency. I also noticed a fact primarily about mating in the males vs. females size description, so I moved it to the “Mating” section. I also removed all hyperlinks from articles that did not exist on Wikipedia. I deleted the “and behavior” portion from the “diet and behavior” section and moved the “relationship with fungi” subsection to the “relationship with the environment” section. @Bomapoodle: New enough and large enough expansion. Nominator is QPQ-exempt. The hook fact seems to be covered by Similarly, Euwallacea spp. can attack and inoculate their plant pathogenic mutualists into healthy and declining trees (let me know if I am wrong). The main issue with this nomination and multiple others from your class at WashU is that there are multiple uncited statements. The one about the female to male ratio that I wrote was specific to E. interjectus but I'd be totally ok with it being broadend to what you wrote. Peer Review[edit]

I really enjoyed this article, and I think it was really well organized. I changed a few of the headings to make them more compact/ flow better. I also added a few images because I think visuals are really important to keep readers engaged, especially on Wikipedia. My only other suggestion would be to add more information to the section about Euwallacea validus because I wasn't sure how this description of another species of beetle fit into the article. I can see how adding more specific compare/ contrast details between the two species could be useful to develop the description of your beetle, but if that is not a possibility, I would recommend cutting this section because I think it distracts from your species of beetle.
