  • To be eligible for inclusion at DYK an article needs to be new or expanded fivefold (5x) or recently promoted to Good Article status. The recent addition to the article increased the "readable prose" from 4.3 kB to 14 kB. gobonobo + c 17:12, 2 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Thank you for working on this article BreannaY77. It doesn't qualify for DYK at this time, but if the article ever reaches GA quality, feel free to re-nominate. gobonobo + c 17:24, 10 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This article is looking good. It could use more information on the life cycle of the beetle, as well as any predators or enemies the beetle may have. I'm also wondering if it engages in any mutualism with other species. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ardenpedraja (talkcontribs) 02:49, 22 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I like how descriptive your introduction was. The sentences flowed very well and maintained a professional tone throughout. I also like how clearly you described how the beetles adapted to processing the natural toxins of dogsbane in a way that is digestible by the reader. It is super interesting that this beetle is able to store the toxin and weaponize it against its own predators. The imagery provided of the dogsbane beetles coupling definitely added to your article and provided context for the point you made about how quick the beetles are to reproduce. I thought you did a fantastic job on the entire article leaving me little to be critical of. Good job! Abdul-Jalil Dania
