Being this is election season and all, maybe a more neutral page from this year would be good? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 36.11.228.53 (talk) 04:12, 10 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I agree it should be replaced, but mainly because it is an old image and the masthead looks a little different now.
The only problem is, I don't know what sources I can use. I would assume it would have to come from Wikimedia commons, but I couldn't find any recent front pages there. I couldn't even find the one that is currently the sample front page. Is it okay to use a pic from say, Chicago Tribune's twitter account? They've got a great one there from July 2023 and is very Chicago oriented, so that's fitting.
I've never uploaded an image before so I don't know the rules on that. Jazzyeditor (talk) 03:04, 18 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Proposal to Remove political Parameter from Infobox[edit]
It's been 27 days since this proposal was made, and no objections have been raised; so the parameter has been removed. Squideshi (talk) 15:17, 13 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Footnotes 12 & 21 seem to refer to a 1948 book by Cole, but the link is broken, and the name of the book appears missing. Does anyone know what this is? 65.26.81.239 (talk) 02:31, 30 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I found the book (dissertation), but I don't have a link: The Chicago Press and the Know Nothings 1850-1856. M.A. Dissertation, University of Chicago 65.26.81.239 (talk) 02:36, 30 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
