Real reason for the Duke's hatred of his wife[edit]

The story of their relationship has been sanitized over time, especially in the film "All This and Heaven Too, starring Bette Davis and Charles Boyer. Allegedly, the acrimony in the marriage was not caused by a love affair between the Duke and children's governess, but the Duchess's sexual molestation of their young son. Revelation of this would have been much more scandalous and taboo than an extra-marital affair.Betempte (talk) 18:46, 27 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Is the picture Charles or his father Charles-Félix[edit]

As has been noted on the image description page for some time this picture may not be Charles but his father Charles-Félix. Compared to images like this there maybe some doubt. Nthep (talk) 17:36, 16 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
