One other thing: A "Beautiful People" made #100 with a cover of Turn Up the Music. I find it very difficult to believe that they are the same given the activity of its members, but the only source that says it, chartarchive.org (in the hatnote), is an extended port of The Official Charts Company archive and it aggregates the two bands as being the same. Is it worth treating the two bands as one?--Launchballer 09:50, 22 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I might as well pick this one up too. LB, let's consolidate all of these articles... I have a draft started at User:Technical 13/Drafts/BP (Band), feel free to help me clean it up and make it look pretty. :) Technical 13 (talk) 15:30, 22 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Urgh, that looks repulsive! All the articles are deserving of individual articles except possibly the album. Merge the album and band if you wish, but certainly not like that and certainly not the singles.--Launchballer 20:00, 22 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Like I said, it needs cleanup, but I think it could look fine and would be better than a bunch of stubs. Technical 13 (talk) 20:14, 22 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
It needs quite a bit of cleanup, frankly. I've re-read WP:NALBUMS; the two songs categorically pass the singles criteria, because they charted on a national chart (in the top five, no less). The album is probably not as notable, but it has been reported on by a totally independent source (LA Times, and the group is English). I see we are not going to agree on this one; how about posting this somewhere more noticeable (ANI, AFD, DRN etc) and getting an independent opinion?--Launchballer 21:33, 22 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
No need on my behalf. If you rather them be four stubs, than they can be four stubs. I have no interest in this cover band. I was just offering what I could in response to the {{Help me}} you posted. :) In that regard, if there is any evidence that the two songs are indeed by the same band then they should be treated as such. If there is no notability and no citable references, I wouldn't worry about including it. Technical 13 (talk) 21:55, 22 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Turn Up the Music is probably not by the 90s band with Beautiful People being used as a group name in a way similar to Can You Blow My when they covered Flo Rida's "Whistle". It is likely the OCC's website is wrong just like crediting PHAT BEACH (I'LL BE READY) to Shahid 'Naughty Boy' Khan's discography when it was by a production duo[1] — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.154.170.204 (talk) 14:32, 13 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
