Name[edit]

Why is it named "Andy's object" in the article, when the paper calls it J173608.2−321635, at no point using the "Andy's object", or even "Andy"? SkywalkerPL (talk) 10:56, 3 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Yes it is unclear. Articles on the topic designate it as "ASKAP J173608.2–321635", so it should be renamed. Praemonitus (talk) 14:32, 17 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I've renamed the article. Apparently "Andy" is a nickname of Ziteng Wang, so it's probably an undocumented informal name for the object. Unfortunately there isn't a cite available to confirm that, at least not yet. Praemonitus (talk) 15:55, 17 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
