William Douglas, First Earl of March, (1673-2 September 1705) was a Scottish politician.

He was the son of William Douglas, 1st Duke of Queensberry and Isabelle Douglas, daughter of William Douglas, 1st Marquess of Douglas.

The Duke of Queensberry obtained an earldom for his second son, William, from King William III. He was created Earl of March of the kingdom of Scotland on 20 April 1697 and also Viscount of Peebles, and Lord Douglas of Neidpath, Lyne and Munard.[1]

He married twice, first to Jane, daughter of John Hay, first Marquis of Tweedale and secondly to Grishield McKeard.
