University MetropolitanTirana is a private institution of higher education located in Tirana, Albania. The university focused on engineering sciences, architecture, and economics, is committed to develop students as professionals in contemporary fields of innovation and technology. With an internationally acclaimed academic and research staff, an infrastructure of 11 laboratories, study opportunities abroad through collaboration with numerous European universities, it has been recognized as 'Excellent,' securing institutional accreditation from the Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education[1] and the British Accreditation Agency. UMT is also the first university in Albania offering Ph.D. program in 'Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Systems' and Bachelor's program in 'Artificial Intelligence".

Doctoral School in Artificial Intelligence[edit]
The unique Ph.D. program in Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Systems[2][3] in Albania aims to contribute to the field of Artificial Intelligence in various domains such as healthcare, energy, robotics, finance, economics, education, defense, transportation, and many others. This scientific project involves internal faculty members of UMT (University of Medical Sciences) and a diverse group of foreign professors and researchers from some of the most prestigious universities in France and the United States.
