Brittany Rae Leach (born August 30, 1985), also known as Raye Richards, is an American reality television personality, film actress and marketing director. She became a top three contestant on A Shot at Love II with Tila Tequila and appeared in the films The Phantom Hour and South of 8.

Career[edit]

Leach worked the nightlife and club experience in Hillcrest, San Diego for over a decade,[1] becoming the marketing director for a women's bar called Gossip Grill. This set up the opportunity to help put in place Barrel & Board, an environment for queer women.[2][3][4] In 2022, Leach sanctioned to have Naloxone available in bars and nightclubs to help fight the growing Fentanyl crisis.[1] She was awarded Hillcrest Icon at Hillcrest Honors in 2023.[5]

Leach acted in films under the alias Raye Richards. She portrayed Lola 5 in South of 8, a San Diego film featuring Jennifer Paredes,[6] and Anna in The Phantom Hour.[7] She was a special guest at Horrible Imaginings Film Festival in 2016[8] and was cast in the films The Playground in 2017[9] and The Samuel Project in 2018.[10]

2008: A Shot at Love II with Tila Tequila[edit]

Leach was a top three contestant on A Shot at Love II with Tila Tequila.[11][12] Before elimination, she won challenges,[13][14] got her belly button pierced,[15][16] admitted to never hearing or saying "I love you,"[14] and had Tila Tequila over for a visit to meet her father, best friend and roommate.[17][18] While in Cancún, Leach won a challenge that allowed her to choose which days she and her other contestants would go on a date with Tequila. On their date, Leach did her best to persuade Tequila she was "the one,"[19] but in the end, Tequila told her she did not think the two of them had chemistry.[20][21]

Personal life[edit]

Leach's father was not part of her childhood,[22] but she located him when she was 16.[11][18]
