Mercy Alu Nigerian Artist and ICMA Music Awards Ambassador

Mercy Alu AKA “Ngozi” (pronounced- N-go-zee), is a Nigerian artist, songwriter,  producer, author and researcher. Her music has won several awards including Best Upcoming Female Artist, Africa,  Hollywood and African Prestigious Awards;[1][2] [3][4][5][6][7]Winner, Global Peace song award;  Winner "Best of Africa" Intercontinental Music Awards.[8]  Many of her songs have received nominations in multiple regional, National and Global Awards such as the International Acoustic Music Awards (IAMA). Some of her songs include , "African Queen", "Jerusalema", "My Number One", "Chidimma", "Sunshine", "Have it Your Way" and many others, which have been featured on major Nigerian network programs on NTA (National Television Authority), ITV, AIT, Silverbird, Radio Nigeria.

Mercy Alu is Ambassador for the InterContinental Music Awards, and represents UN SDG's in West Africa through her music and Authorship with Globcal International.[9] [10] In her capacity as Ambassador of the Intercontinental Music Awards (ICMA),[11] Alu continues to contribute to the music industry by developing international visibility for African Artists. She has supported various Artists including South Africa's "Platform One" to promote global recognition of African music, and networked with the African Muzik Magazine Awards AFRIMMA owner Anderson Obiagwu on the objective of increasing African Artists global visibility shared with the ICMA. Davido, Wizkid, Burnaboy are some of the African artists whose music have crossed into the U.S mainstream music industry through this objective thanks to Big "A" as Mr. Obiagwu is called. Alu is represented in Nigeria by Stagerave Entertainment Agency[12], and has also featured as an Actress with BMS INT'L Films Nigeria on Nollywood set in "Survive" produced by Nollywood Actor and Producer Val. Faith.
