Khanlar Firudin Asadullayev (Azerbaijani: Xanlar Əsədulllayev Firudin oğlu, Russian: Асадуллаев Ханлар Фирудин оглы) Azerbaijani modern artist Khanlar Asadullayev was born on 9th December 1988 in Azerbaijan city Siyazan.

Khanlar is an active member of the Union of Youth Artists of Azerbaijan since 2010 and the Union of Azerbaijan Artists PA since 2023. Since 2019 he is an ambassador of "Nevskaya Palitra" in Azerbaijan.

Education[edit]

In 2003, he studied at the Art College under the Azerbaijan State Art Academy, majoring in "Interior Designer", and graduated from that college in 2007. In 2007-2011, he continued his studies at Azerbaijan State Art Academy of Fine Arts, majoring in "Painting".[1]

He spent his childhood in Siyazan. Since 1997 he lives in Baku, capital of Azerbaijan and works in his own "Khanlar Art Gallery". His artworks are in private collections in Azerbaijan, Turkey, USA,Great Britain, Russia, Japan, UAE, Netherlands, Germany, Scotland and other countries.

Work[edit]

Khanlar uses a wide range of colours, inspired by the pure interplay of light and colour. Bright and vivid colours define the emotional feel of the images. [2]Among the landscape works of Khanlar Asadullayev are "Melbourne", "Winter Landscape", "Kalbajar", "Land of Absheron", "Stockholm Fortress Kastellet","Sea Rocks", "Torre Sant Anrea" etc.

In addition to the landscape examples his works in the still life genre are "Pomegranate", "Rose Garden", "Bouquet", "Peonies", "Lilac" etc.

It is also possible to see the portrait genre in the artist's work. As an example, the work "Portrait" executed with oil paint on cardboard, "Wind", "Empress Zhang", "Little artist", "Painter", "Captain", "Claude Monet".
