The Khaśali group of dialects, is a set of closely related dialects within the Western Pahari family of Indo-Aryan Languages. These dialects are spoken in the mountainous region Khaśāl, situated on the left bank of the Chenab River in Doda district. Identified and studied by Siddheswar Verma in 1938, this group includes Khaśali, Marmati, Rodhari, Seutali, and Suddānsi dialects.^[1]
