Kendrell Holley was born June 5, 1975 in Wichita, Kansas. He was the first born in a set of twins. Kendrell has a twin sister named Keyshiaa. As a young child Kendrell was diagnosed with allergy and exercise-induced asthma. He spent many days in the hospital due to asthma exacerbations, almost dying from an asthma attack in June of 1992.
