Jon Townsend is an American reinacotor. He is the owner of Jas. Townsend & Son Inc., a retailer and manufacturer of reproduction 18th and early 19th Century clothing and personal accessories.[1][2]

After Townsend posted a video of himself preparing an orange fool, an uproar ensued by supporters of Donald Trump who believed that Townsend chose the dessert as an insult to the president.[6]
