Infamous PR is a public relations and marketing agency that was founded in 2008 by Alastair Duncan, who serves as CEO and founder. Although historically its focus has been electronic music, the agency's primary practice areas are now artists, festivals and brands.

History[edit]

Established in 2008, Infamous became part of the developing dance scene in Los Angeles, growing from a one person agency specializing in small electronic artists into a multi-platform communications agency.[1][2]

In 2019 Infamous created a content studio, Infamy Media, through which it produces live streams and other content,[2] and co-founded the Los Angeles based charity soccer tournament, Copa del Rave, in which DJs and related music industry employees participate to raise money for a chosen charity.[3][4][5]

In 2020 Infamous launched the Rave The Vote alongside Soul Clap, Lost Resort TV and 2+2 Management, an initiative within the dance community focused on voter registration in the US.[6][7]

Although originally a company that solely focused on electronic artists, Infamous now works across genres, mainly working with artists, festivals and brands, within culture and music.[1][8] As of 2023 the management team of Infamous also includes Maxfield Frieser (COO) and Megan Dembokwski (VP artist services).[9][1]
