Dauda Adamu Kahutu Popularly known as Rarara (13th September 1986) in the village of Kahutu, Danja Local government, Katsina state, Nigeria. He is a Musician, Artist, Song writer, and also the most popular Hausa Musician among President Muhammadu Buhari's campaign team.[1][2]

Background[edit]

He first came to Kano state to seek Islamic knowledge, (Almajiranci) but later became a significant influencer in the entertainment and political sectors, not only in Kano state but also in the entire Northern region of Nigeria.[3]

Career[edit]

Most of his career is in Kano State[4] His career advancement and popularity began when when he produced a hit song titled 'Ruwa Baba'. He sang the song for his the then master: Abdullahi T Gwarzo who was the deputy Governor of Kano state. another song that made him popular from the beginning of his career was ''kainuwa'' in which he praises the then Kano state governor, Malam Ibrahim Shekarau. these songs became the subject of interest in the political atmosphere not only in Kano state but also in the northern part of the Nigeria.[5]

Creation of 13*13[edit]

He leaded the initiation and the creation of Hausa Media influencers group call 13*13(Thirteen thirteen). This are people that have the same political ideology.[6] His influence made him the Richest Hausa singer.

House set on fire[edit]

Shortly after the declaration of Abba Kabir Yusuf of NNPP as the governor of Kano state, Unidentified thugs set the house of Dauda Kahutu Rarara on fire.[7] They have destroyed and looted many valuables before they set the house on fire.[8] Security agent reached the scene and dispersed the hoodlums as the fire keeps on increasing, there has been delay before the arrival of the fire fighters.[9]

After the incident, About 29 Suspects have been arrested by the Kano state police in connection with theft and the vandalisation.[10]
