Classic Tech is a licensed Network Service Provider and Internet service provider in Nepal, providing broadband service.[1] The company was founded in year 2009.[2]

Classic Tech has provided internet connectivity along with IPTV services throughout Nepal from 103 outlets in 74 districts.[3][4][5]

Classic Tech has been a member of Nepal Internet Exchange (NPIX) since 2011.[6] It along with other Network Service Providers of Nepal import international bandwidth from Indian Telecommunications, and should be in line with Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA) and Nepal Government. [7]

History[edit]

Established as Zero Point Remit Pvt. Ltd. in 2009, Classic Tech transformed into an Internet Service Provider (IPS) in 2010 and a network service provider/distributor in 2014.11

Later in 2014, the company obtained license for Network Service Provider (NSP)[8].

Mobile App[edit]

Classic Tech launched its customer mobile application around 2018.[9]

IPv6 Deployment[edit]

Classic Tech started IPv6 deployment initiative around 2020,[10][11][12][13]. Classic Tech has announced around 12 IPv6 prefixes. Examples of prefixes are 2407:5200:32::/48 and 2407:5200:48::/48. [14]
