Blake Orbán (born 28 January 1994) was a former Canadian ice hockey player and defenceman[2][3][4], active from 2009-2020.[2] Orban was born in Hungary, and his hometown is Calgary, Alberta, Canada.[5] He was drafted in 2009, 65th overall, to the Vancouver Giants[5] in the 2009 WHL Bantam Draft.

2009-2010 Orban started by playing junior hockey for the Olds Grizzlys[2]

WHL Career[edit]

2010-2014 Orban is drafted in the 2009 WHL Bantam Draft (65th overall) to the Vancouver Giants[5]

2014-2015 Orban is traded by the Vancouver Giants to the Edmonton Oil Kings for a 2014 2nd round pick in the WHL Bantam Draft[6]

2013 Orban scores the only goal, with a 1-0 score, to beat the Everett Silvertips[7][8][9][10]
2014 Orban, along with his team at the time, the Edmonton Oil Kings, wins the 2014 Ed Chynoweth Cup[11][12][13]
2014 Orban and the Edmonton Oil Kings win the 2014 Memorial Cup[14][15]

2017-2019 Orban plays for the college he attends, University of Lethbridge[16]

Erste Liga League[edit]

2019-2020 Orban plays for MAC Budapest, a team based in Budapest, Hungary.[17][2][5]
