Ashish Dixit is an Indian actor. He made his television debut with the Big Magic's Bal Gopal Kare Dhamaal but he is best known for his portrayal of Nandan Jha in Palkon Ki Chhaon Mein 2, A young Indian Freedom Fighter Birsa Munda in Swaraj, Vikram Kakkar in Parineetii and Abhijeet Dalvi in Dil Dhoondta Hai. Recently, He made his film debut as main character in Dhoop Chhaon Bollywood film.[1].
Early life[edit]
Dixit was born in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh and brought up in Mumbai, Maharashtra. His family moved to Kalyan, Maharashtra when he was three months old. He was raised in Mumbai. He completed his schooling from the Model College, Kalyan. He graduated from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar College Of Engineering and Research, Nagpur University. Ashish got married with actress Shweta Kanoje in Nagpur on May 28, 2019 [2].
Career[edit]
Dixit began his acting career in 2014 in the television world when he was cast in an Indian drama television series Bal Gopal Kare Dhamaal as Bablu Awasthi.
In 2015, he appeared in the episodic role of Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya as Sanjay Mishra. In the same year, he appeared for episodic role in Code Red the show based on the most popular paranormal occurrences and untold story behind it.
In 2016, he starred in the Indian crime television series Gumrah: End of Innocence as Neeraj. In the same year, he played supporting role of Akira's friend in Hindi film Akira as Vishal.
In 2017, he was cast on Zee TV's Dil Dhoondta Hai, a romantic drama television series in the second pivotal lead role of Abhijeet Dalvi [3].
In 2018, he joined Zee TV's soap opera Aap Ke Aa Jaane Se in the recurring role of Guddu Pandey. He also appeared in the episodic roles of Crime Patrol, Savdhaan India, Laal Ishq and Kaun Hai?.
In 2020, He played the lead character of ALTBalaji's Gandii Baat season 4 (episode 1) as Prem.
In Early 2022, he is portraying Vikram Kakkar in Colors TV's Parineetii[4]. In Mid 2022, he quit the show because of some creative changes[5].
In September 2022, he starred in Dangal TV's Palkon Ki Chhaon Mein 2 as Nandan Jha[6][7]
In 2022, he made his film debut as main character in Bollywood film Dhoop Chhaon as Omkar.[8]
